Janet Dean

Janet Dean, 67, of Evanston, passed away June 15, 2024 at Rocky Mountain Care Center in Evanston, after a long-fought battle with cancer. Janet was born February 2nd, 1957 in Evanston,Wyo., to Arlo Dean and Jilleen Nicholls. She was the second of four daughters.

Janet was raised in Evanston where she graduated from high school in 1975, she lived in Ogden for a few years and then returned to Evanston where she remained the rest of her life.

Janet was a very active adventurous gal; she loved to hike and fish. She really loved her crafts and was great at flower arranging and could grow anything. Her home was full of beautiful plants, she was a great animal lover and had many beloved pets. 

Janet had a big warm heart and many friends, she will be dearly missed.

Janet is survived by her mother Jill Muir, sister Deb Ludwick, (Rick),sister Barbara Abernathy, sister Connie Dean (Mona), half-sister Arla Dean and many beloved nieces and nephews.

At Janet's request there will not be a funeral.

The family would like to thank the Rocky Mountain Care Center for taking care of Janet those last 4 days.
