Patricia Riggs

It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Patricia Louise Riggs, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend. Patricia peacefully departed this earthly realm on July 3, 2024, in Evanston, Wyoming, surrounded by her loving family, after bravely fighting a difficult battle against cancer. She was 55 years old.

Born February 23, 1969, in Tulsa, Oklahoma to Frederick and Geraldine Foss Grisham, Patricia grew up in Granger, Wyoming, and later moved to Evanston in 1991. It was here that she met Kevin Riggs, and the two were united in marriage in June of 1993. Together, they were blessed with three wonderful sons, Jonathan, Jamie, and Nicky. Patricia was a dedicated employee, working for many years at the TA Travel Center in Fort Bridger and later at Pizza Hut in Mountain View.

Patricia will always be remembered for her unwavering love and dedication to her family, her warm and caring nature, and her zest for life. She found joy in simple pleasures such as camping, cooking, and traveling with her loved ones. In 2008, she met her best friend and soulmate, Darold, who brought immeasurable happiness into her life.

She is survived by her devoted mother, Geraldine Grisham; Kevin Riggs and their cherished sons, Jonathan Grisham of Evanston, Jamie (Vicky) Grisham of Riverton, WY, and Nicky Riggs of Fort Bridger; her brothers, Allen (Teri) Grisham of Evanston, Larry (Annie) Grisham of Prescott, AZ, Roger (Holly) Grisham of Evanston and Brian (Morgan) Grisham of Green River, WY; sister Kathy Grisham of Rock Springs, WY; her six adoring grandchildren, Zada, Zoe, Zena, Kacy, Kameryn, and Carter, and her beloved companion Darold.

In honor of Patricia's memory, a Celebration of Life will be held at a future date to honor the life she lived and the love she shared with all who knew her. The family has established an account in her name at Trona Valley Federal Credit Union to help with expenses during this difficult time.

Patricia was preceded in death by her father Frederick Grisham and a baby sister.

May Patricia's soul rest in eternal peace, and may her memory continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing her.
